This is currently a stand-alone HR Manager role that offers the incumbent a seat on the operational board. It is a busy and varied role that will see you work on an interesting pipeline of HR projects, alongside your day to day generalist HR and ER tasks
Although there is an established HR function in place, you will have the opportunity to put your stamp on the role with people development projects, working on integrating acquisitions and looking to streamline and improve processes or procedures and strengthen and build on higher education partner relationships that support their successful graduate recruitment program.
Employee Relations and Manager coaching will be key to enabling people to develop successful careers within the business and to ensure positive integrations of acquisitions into the business.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Come from a generalist background
- Be CIPD qualified
- Ideally have come from a small HR team or worked in a stand alone HR role
- Have experience creating HR strategy and be content operating both strategically and operationally.
- Demonstrate experience of TUPE, restructuring and acquisitions and mergers
The ideal candidate will have experience leading HR for a growing, SME business and have the drive and passion to be part of a well established, award winning business, wanting to partner them through this next phase of growth.
