A leading marketing and communications business with offices across the UK are looking for an experienced HR Administrator or HR Assistant to join their shared services team. 
 
Working as part of a shared services HR team, you will ensure the smooth running of the day to day HR function of the Warrington site.  As an HR Assistant, you will act as the first point of contact for line managers and other middle managers for employee-related matters throughout the site.
 
You will be a generalist with strong administration skills and be responsible for delivery of a full range of human resource services with the ability to coach and guide colleagues through the full employee lifecycle.
 
This role will need a confident and approachable HR professional with a specific focus on identifying current and future requirements, nurture line managers, drive change, promote development and be involved with projects, such as the implementation of a new HRIS system.
 
You will be highly organised and have an eye for detail, as well as having a team player attitude with an approachable and coaching style whilst having an interest in your own self development.
 
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
 
Build strong relationships and regularly communicate with management team on HR related issues and escalate to Head of HR when appropriate
Provide advice in the management of 1:1 work review and the appraisal process
Drive business performance in partnership with the management team and aligned to the organisation’s objectives
Drive and co-ordinate the end to end recruitment and selection processes
Administer the new starter process and ensure all processes are adhered to including right to work in the UK, references and DBS and credit checks
Manage the new starter induction process and carry out induction and ISO compliance training for new starters
Train and coach line managers in policy and process
Partner with line managers to review employee relations, resourcing, performance and absence management
Advise and attend employee relation meetings with managers, take minutes and follow up in writing
Review Company Policies and Procedures in line with employment legislation and handle HR matters reliably and in accordance with legal requirements
Update and maintain the HR Information System data ensuring accuracy of new starters, onboarding, leavers, etc
Compile through HRIS data monthly management reports; and explore areas of ongoing improvement;
Make recommendations to drive positive change throughout the business
 
To be suitable you will have a good understanding of HR policies and procedures and will be highly organised with great attention to detail. 
 
The salary on offer for this role is up to £28,000 depending on experience.
