HR Advisor – Reading, Berkshire
A highly successful professional services firm based in Reading are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join their team.
Please note – this organisation offers flexible/hybrid working where by you are expected to be in the office twice per week and are able to work from home the rest of the time.
The ideal candidate will be a CIPD qualified HR generalist with previous experience as a HR Advisor. You will have strong leadership skills and ability to prioritise and perform under pressure. You will feel confident leading employee relations meetings, performance discussions and disciplinary meetings with line managers and employees and will have a good knowledge and understanding of employment law and best practice.
Key responsibilities of this HR Advisor role will include:
Effectively deal with employee relations matters including disciplinary meetings
Provision of employment advice & guidance to employees and managers
Leading meetings, ensure accurate file notes and follow up action is completed
Lead on specific HR projects during the year to be agreed with the Head of HR.
Absence monitoring & reporting
Assist teams with interviews and recruitment process as and when required
Running reports from ASR system
Inductions and onboarding of new joiners.
The salary on offer for this role is up to £35,000 plus benefits.
