HR Advisor – Tottenham, N17
A highly successful and rapidly growing organisation are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join them.
This is a brilliant opportunity to join an SME business were alongside providing a great HR service the business you will be involved in a range of interesting project work.
The ideal candidate will be a HR Generalist and will be CIPD Level 5 qualified. You will be reporting to the HR Manager and working alongside another HR Advisor – therefore it is essential that you are happy to be involved in all aspects of HR including the administration; producing offer letters and contracts etc but also have the confidence to proactively deal with ER issues, absence, performance issues etc. The organisation are keen to review their policies and really focus on upskilling their middle management layer so it is vital you are able to build strong working relationships quickly.
Key responsibilities will include:
Build strong relationships and regularly communicate with the management team on HR related issues and escalate when appropriate
Contribute to the investigation and future implementation on a new HRIS system
Update and maintain the HR Information System data ensuring accuracy of new starters / leavers, T&A and changes in employees’ details during employment;
Compile through HRIS data monthly management reports; and explore areas of ongoing improvement;
Drive business performance in partnership with the management team and aligned to the organisation’s objectives
Roll out policy and process training to Managers (2021)
Partner with line managers to review employee relations, resourcing, performance and absence management and attend employee relation meetings with managers when required and appropraite
Liaise with third when required including Occupational Health, Benefits providers, agencies etc
Handle all HR matters reliably and in accordance with legal requirements
Carry out formal consultations when required, but not limited to TUPE, redundancies, welfare meetings etc
Drive and co-ordinate the end to end recruitment and selection processes
Administer the new starter process and ensure all processes are adhered to including right to work in the UK, references and DBS
Manage the new starter induction process and carry out induction and ISO compliance training for new starters
Work with team to review Company Policies and Procedures in line with employment legislation
Make recommendations to drive positive change throughout the business
The salary on offer for this role is up to £32,000 plus benefits.
