Heath & Safety Manager

Health & Safety Manager (Property) - Central London
*Salary up to £65,000 plus 20% bonus and 25 days annual leave*
A leading London residential company is looking for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join its existing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rewarding and supportive organisation based in the heart of London who own multiple residential sites. The role will be required on site at least four days a week with some flexibility as required.
Day to day duties will include:
- Engaging with the business to champion the H&S culture
- Lead and implement H&S strategy in line with legislation
- Manage stakeholders across the senior leadership team and communicating changes in legislation
- Accountable for all policies and procedures
- Build a full understanding of site teams, buildings and processes
- Maintain risk and asset register and identify risk assessments 
- Establish H&S controls
- Manage external stakeholders and contractors
- Support on H&S with new buildings being built
- Owning policies and procedures designed for resident welfare
- Chair H&S committee meetings
- Carry out audits and inspections
- Identify training needs across the organisation and develop learning materials/articles
To be considered suitable you will need the following skills/experience:
- Relevant qualifications/membership i.e. IOSH/NEBOSH
- Previous health and safety management experience and ability to influence stakeholders
- Good understanding of UK legislation (including fire safety)
- Experience in residential accommodation, residential property, hotels, retail or leisure industry would be seen as advantageous
