Health and Safety Manager – Bracknell
 
A brilliant opportunity has arisen for an experienced EHS Specialist of Health and Safety Manager to join an international organisation at a time of exciting growth. 
 
As the Environmental, Health and Safety Specialist you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the EHS programs - including identifying and implementing EHS programs, improving existing health and safety programs and strengthening overall performance on site.
 
The ideal candidate will be NEBOSH qualified and an experienced leader in EHS management systems, particularly ISO14001. 
 
Key responsibilities of this Health and Safety Manager role will include:
 
Create and implement environmental, safety, health, security, and regulatory compliance programs that meet applicable requirements and ensure safety.
Ensure robust processes, procedures and work instructions are in place for all employees that ensure safety and compliance.
Ensure systems and records are in place to demonstrate compliance with safety, health environmental, and security requirements.
Work to proactively to identify and control risk, head off EHS issues and concerns
Produce accurate and metrics; use metrics to drive continuous improvement and enable sites to achieve Vision of Zero injuries/incidents/non-compliance. Quantify impacts and deliver on opportunities to drive efficiency and reduce footprint.
 
To be suitable you will have previous demonstrable experience in a similar EHS or Health and Safety Manager role.  You will be able to demonstrate effective project management , strategic thinking and leadership skills too.  Any exposure to the Manufacturing or R&D sector would be beneficial.
