A well established, international organisation based in Rugby are looking for an experienced Health and Safety Coordinator to join a team of four.

Key responsibilities will include:
Support in external annual ISO 45001 management system audits.
Ensure emergency preparedness and response is coordinated suitably and sufficiently within reasonable practicable guidelines.
Ensure all accidents, incidents and near misses are thoroughly investigated so that immediate and root causes are identified and practical corrective actions are put in place to prevent reoccurrence.
Ensure compliance with legal requirement for consultation within the workforce by attending and taking minutes at regular Health and Safety Committee meetings.
Ensure all areas of the business are suitably risk assessed and safe systems of work are created.
Provide regular feedback to the team at monthly departmental meetings.
Coordination of the control of contractor programme to ensure no work is undertaken outside of our procedures.
Ensuring suitable and sufficient personal protective equipment is available and distributed to any employee who requires it.
Conducting and coordinating training as required e.g. First Aid, Manual Handling, Induction etc.
Involvement in improvement projects to ensure health and safety considerations are raised and support provided.
