Head of Technology - Hybrid working - £100,000
A highly successful, global organisation with offices in London and Birmingham are looking for a commercially astute and inspiring Head of Technology to lead their IT and Software Development function.
Please note – this role offers hybrid working but with regular travel to the Birmingham head office.

The ideal candidate will be comfortably able to work and build relationships with users, stakeholders and senior management to continually be aware of the business challenges and to drive efficiencies.
Reporting to the CEO, you will ensure you develop and maintain close working relationships between the business leadership and the Technology function. As the Head of Technology you will be responsible for the divisional platform and technical product roadmap working in collaboration with Product Owners. You will be monitoring and assessing new technology and other advances in technical and application architectures to ensure the business can be best in class in the areas it operates within. You will provide technical leadership for the division, sitting on the Leadership Team.
Key responsibilities of this Head of Technology role will be:
Being the primary "face of IT and Data services" you will design and define the technical roadmap for the division aligned with the product strategy
Providing input and challenge to the Leadership Team
Driving best in class data practices for both internal efficiency and external product offerings
Owning the tech project portfolio ensuring that projects are delivered with appropriate technology governance and standards
Drive technology and product innovation.

Facilitate sharing of technology best practice across the organisation
Skills and Experience Required:
Experience in a similar Leadership role with a proven track record of driving and leading large-scale product strategies
A strong appreciation and application of User Experience best practice
Experience in infrastructure, application, and product areas of technology including CI/CD DevOps and modern user story driven development
Proficient in public cloud architecture, Azure, or AWS and knowledgeable in serverless, containerisation, capacity, and performance monitoring
The salary on offer for this role is circa £100,000 plus great benefits and a 15% bonus.
