Head of Marketing

A well-established business is seeking a dynamic, personable and creative Head of Marketing with proven B2C and B2B experience to join its senior leadership team. While the organisation is based in Ipswich, they embrace flexible working so applications are welcome from those who would like to work remotely.  

In this business critical role, you will have full responsibility for developing the marketing strategy and vision of the Group. You will provide inspirational leadership to the 5 person marketing team and will measure the success of marketing strategies with a view to creating a culture of continuous innovation and improvement.  

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading successful marketing teams and will be a confident and energetic communicator. The role will incorporate both B2B and B2C marketing across multiple brands, and it is expected that you will have an incisive understanding of both offline and online marketing, allied to the interpersonal skills required to nurture key relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

You will also be a consummate communicator with proven experience of creating and delivering an effective brand and marketing strategy. You will be a creative and analytical thinker with an entrepreneurial approach and passion for digital communication. You will create compelling marketing campaigns that will engage existing customers and attract new business and will bring robust analysis to the business, optimising the ROI of the marketing budget and utilising technology to enhance the marketing strategy.
