A highly successful business with circa 2,000 employees is looking for an accomplished Head of IT Support Operations to join its team. Please note this role is hybrid so you will be able to work from home 3 days per week.
In order to be suitable for this role you must be a highly capable leader with proven experience of managing successful IT teams, including service desks, in an enterprise environment. You will be ITIL certified and have proven experience of leading change projects and improving IT support provision.
In this role you will lead a 15 person IT support team and be focused on delivering a proactive and effective service to the business. You will serve as the figurehead for support operations throughout the business and will excel at communication enabling you to motivate the team, engage stakeholders and manage third parties.
Initial key responsibilities will include:
- Improving processes and practices to ensure an exceptional support service is delivered
- Improving Incident, Problem & Change management across the firm
- Delivering a robust JML process
- Reviewing Group 3rd party partner contracts
- Ensuring comprehensive measurement and reporting of KPIs.
