A school based in Godalming, Surrey, is looking for a personable Head of IT to join its senior leadership team.
In order to be suitable for this role of significant responsibility you must be a proven leader with a collaborative style and passion for technology. You will manage and mentor a small team of IT professionals and will foster a culture of continuous improvement. You will devise and implement the IT strategy and deliver a robust, efficient, and secure technology environment. Previous experience working as an IT leader within the education sector would be beneficial to your application but is not essential.
In addition to creating and delivering the IT roadmap you will partner with key external suppliers and internal stakeholders so clear communication skills and an ability to develop positive working relationships is fundamental to the role. You will manage the entire technology estate, including voice, data, network, on-prem and cloud solutions so broad ranging experience is also a prerequisite.
