Head of IT

A highly regarded Professional Services firm is looking to hire a senior IT professional to lead the management of their growing IT department.

You will take a lead role in the continual improvement of the firm’s technology capabilities and own a range of operational projects across infrastructure, quality and change management. The role would suit a confident communicator that can work closely with external suppliers and vendors, is able to lead business relationship management and is comfortable influencing at board level.

The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth knowledge of IT Infrastructure, service transition, service operations and continuous improvements. You will have excellent organisational and risk management skills and extensive experience in IT operations management.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the day to day operations of a busy IT department.
• Developing Business Continuity and DR plans.
• Managing relationships with external suppliers and vendors
• Developing and maintaining IT related policies.
• Ensuring compliance with security best practice
