An international, mobile technology business based near to Canary Wharf has an opportunity for a passionate and driven Head of Information Security to join its growing technology team.
Reporting directly in to the CTO and managing a team of 3, this is a pivotal role within the organisation; you will be leading the security stream of the business’ digital transformation and take ownership and responsibility for managing the company’s information security operations on a global scale.
Amongst others, your key responsibilities will include:
• Leading the company’s governance and strategic oversight
• Defining, then applying specifications of security controls and operations
• Developing and maintaining effective compliance policies and procedures
• Partnering with legal, back office and commercial operations to drive adherence
You will have significant experience of line managing a team and have been responsible for the improving the management of information and security and risk management in a large or enterprise environment.
You must be able to assist the organisation in decision-making, optimising secure configurations across a number of assets and providing technical options. You will consider perceived asset value and threat probability. This will be internal and external, across information security, risk and privacy.
You will have excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing, with the ability to tailor your delivery to suit a wide variety of audiences, maximising both impact and understanding. You will need to be someone who builds rapport quickly with colleagues and stakeholders, producing effective working relationships with your excellent negotiating and influencing skills.
You will have experience of overseeing large programmes of work to a high standard; securing inputs from others across a range of stakeholders who are often managing conflicting demands. They are looking for someone who thrives in a fast paced and high pressure environment, where you have the insight to see the bigger picture and align your work to support strategic priorities.
