This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Head of Finance to join a well-established & growing SME consultancy. This role is based in Guildford, pays £85,000 and offers a hybrid (2 days per week in the office and 3 days from home) work environment.
A reputable technology firm based in Guildford is looking for an experienced Head of Finance to join their team. This is a great opportunity to lead a finance team and support further growth of a successful company. Duties will include:
- Taking ownership of the finance function and work closely with COO to deliver continuous transformation
- Lead the finance team and direct line management of individuals
- Drive and integrate AI and automation solutions
- Managing senior level stakeholders
- Reporting across commercial pricing and profitability and making suggestions where required
- Own financial planning, forecasting and management reporting
- Own statutory and regulatory compliance including audit, corporation tax, VAT and payroll
To be considered suitable for this Head of Finance role you will need the following skills and experience;
- Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Strong leadership/management experience (leading a team of 5)
- Previous ownership of month-end, financial control and reporting
- Previous experience of transformation within a finance function, ideally including AI tool implementation & system automation
- Strong commercial business acumen
- Ability to operate at a senior leadership level
