Head of Finance

- Based in Guildford (2 days per week in the office and 3 days from home)
- Full time permanent role paying up to £85,000 plus benefits
A reputable technology firm based in Guildford are looking for an experienced Head of Finance to join their team. This is a great opportunity to lead a finance team and support further growth of a successful company. Duties will include:
- Taking ownership of the finance function and work closely with COO to deliver continuous transformation
- Lead the finance team and direct line management of individuals
- Drive and integrate AI and automation solutions
- Managing senior level stakeholders
- Reporting across commercial pricing and profitability and making suggestions where required
- Own financial planning, forecasting and management reporting
- Own statutory and regulatory compliance including audit, corporation tax, VAT and payroll
To be considered suitable for this Head of Finance role you will need the following skills and experience;
- Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Strong leadership/management experience
- Previous ownership if month end, financial control and reporting
- Previous experience of transformation within a finance function, ideally including AI tool implementation
- Strong commercial business acumen
- Ability to operate at a senior leadership level
