An exciting opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Head of Finance to join an inspiring global charity based in Thornhill. The organisation embraces flexibility and is happy for the role to be based predominately from home with monthly travel to the site and accommodation can be expensed.
Reporting to the Finance Director of this circa £120m turnover organisation you will manage the finance function, creating a culture of continuous improvement within the team, and be responsible for delivering management accounts, statutory reports, and financial analysis and forecasting for the group. This role will also support in the annual external auditing, budget development, and payroll.
In order to be suitable for this role of significant responsibility, you must be an accomplished ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified finance professional who is enthusiastic, proactive, and committed with a proven track record of building great working relationships at all levels. You will have proven experience with audit work and statutory reporting, whilst experience with currency management would be highly advantageous to your application. You will also have a good knowledge of accounting systems (preferably Oracle NetSuite) and data analysis.
