A reputable national brand is looking for a proven Head of Data & Technology to join an established technical leadership team - this is a hybrid role (circa 50:50 working from home and offices in the Maidenhead area, Buckinghamshire). This is a fixed-term contract for 18 months.
Working closely with the Finance & Administration Director, the successful candidate will have overarching responsibility for all the organisation’s data, systems and technology projects working in collaboration with Legal & Governance on GDPR, Commercial on website, CRM and incoming technology opportunities. Duties will include developing and implementing a data strategy, producing high quality reporting as well as consolidating and owning the technology project portfolio.
In order to be suitable for this role you must have experience working in a Data Manager, Data Architect, Head of Data, Senior Data Project Manager, IT Manager or similar senior leadership role in a complex enterprise architecture environment with a proven track record of driving and leading large scale product strategies for a data-centric business. It is essential to have broad in-depth technical knowledge covering infrastructure, application and product areas of technology. The ideal candidate will also have a strong technical background as well as a relevant degree and/or industry certifications (ITIL, Prince 2…etc.), but this is not essential.
