A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Group Microsoft Modern Workplace manager to join a renowned global company with multiple business units with offices across 29 countries.

Reporting to the Group Technology Director, the group Microsoft manager works as part of the technology leadership team and  is key to delivering a seamless, resilient and standardised platform for collaboration across the group. The Group operates a federal model, but for the Microsoft environment they operate a single tenant across all business units . The management and governance of this sits with the Microsoft Manage to ensure all  business units can operate within the shared environment.

 This position has a broad remit with responsibility for a significant technology budget and matrix management of a team of 20.

 Some of the key responsibilities will include

Define, implement and maintain the governance structure that will provide an acceptable level of operations for the Group wide Microsoft environment

Define, build, implement and maintain a Roadmap for the Microsoft services relevant to the group

Monitor and review end to end Microsoft service and ensure problems with day to day operation and delivery of the service are minimized.

Identify, develop and implement opportunities to improve service and enhance security

Act as the main technical contact with Microsoft and associated vendors:

Act as the main technical contact with Proofpoint

Matrix Management of a team up to 20 and external suppliers.

It is expected that the ideal candidate will have experience as a Microsoft Modern Workplace manager in a global environment with demonstrated expertise with cloud platforms and a practical hands on knowledge of technical architecture including  - O365 (Teams, Teams Voice, Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics), Azure, Proofpoint. Ideally with Microsoft qualifications or certifications.

You'll be delivery focussed, with experience of planning for and integrating business acquisitions into the estate seamlessly

To be successful you'll need strong interpersonal awareness with the ability to work with virtual teams and possess excellent communication skills.

Based from their central London HQ, with some international travel required, the salary on offer is up to £95,000 , bonus up to 20% and benefits package
