A specialist insurance company in London is looking for a high performing Group IT Director to lead IT operations for this global business.
You would take responsibility for setting IT strategy for the business, taking leadership of the IT team and work closely with key stakeholders to define technology solutions for both the UK and international offices.
The role reports into the board and partners and offers the incumbent the opportunity to step up into the role of CIO over a proven period.
Remit will include all aspects of IT strategy, budget management, IT solutions, working with business teams in the UK and abroad, Security and Compliance, Business Continuity Planning and maintaining key stakeholder relationships across the business.
The successful candidate will be:
- Already operating at a senior level in the insurance industry
- An exceptional communicator, demonstrating commercial acumen and strong financial management skills with experience in building business cases, articulating the business rationale for technology investments.
- You will bring strong business analysis and project management capabilities, including the ability to analyse, plan and execute across the entire spectrum of an IT project lifecycle.
