A well-established corporation is looking for a personable, articulate and highly numerate IT graduate with a passion for development to join its team, based in the City of London.
Prior commercial experience is not required, but you must have an aptitude for analytical thinking and excellent interpersonal skills, coupled with a good University degree (ideally in Computer Science or a related subject) and a desire to build a career in web development. You will primarily utilise the LAMP (PHP, MySQL, Linux) stack in this role but prior experience with PHP is not a prerequisite, the most important thing is your aptitude for development and desire to build a career.
Working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, you will build high performance and aesthetically pleasing websites and applications. You will be passionate about developing great code and enjoy working in a collaborative team where innovative thinking is encouraged.
You will develop elegant web sites and web applications to meet defined business requirements utilising a range of technologies, including: PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, Java and both Linux and Microsoft web server technologies.
You will develop content management systems and supporting databases, customise market-leading frameworks and research and evaluate new web technologies. You will also provide sample code, wireframes, site maps and templates for proposals
