Graduate Systems Engineer / Junior Systems Engineer / Mobile Computing Engineer

Due to continued growth as a business and specifically within the System Engineering team, there is an opening for a Junior Systems Integration Engineer to join the business.  This is a business that is committed to developing their internal talent and as such are looking for a bright, fast learning individual, passionate about technology and with an interest in developing skills in mobile computing, WIFI, tracking and tracing technology to step up into the role and develop an understanding of their technology and how it integrates with their clients' needs and systems, as well as developing pre-sales and post-sales skills and client facing responsibilities.

With this role comes a fantastic opportunity to quickly develop in these high performing Systems Engineering and Solutions Architect teams.  Playing your part in the architecture, delivery and support or complex solutions for enterprise businesses across the UK and EMEA.

This is an entry level role ideally suited to someone with a thirst for technology and keenness to work on cutting edge solutions for a global technology player.  You will be partnered with a Senior Systems Engineer who you will initially shadow and who will offer you on the job training, developing you into a fully fledged Engineer yourself over time.

From a  pre-sales perspective you will attend customer meetings, responding to RFPs, RFQs and RFIs, helping create documentation like project designs, project scope definitions, quotations and presentations.

Post-sales delivering services for large and sometimes complex mobile computing solutions, sometimes stand alone, but often integrated into 3rd party systems, trouble shooting, supporting and training customers and channel partners on solutions in place.

Solutions are around mobile computing, WIFI, MDM, RFID, PSS, large scale software roll outs.

Who is our ideal person?

You might be an IT or Engineering Graduate, or perhaps have some work place experience already and demonstrable passion and realistic ability to develop yourself in these areas.

You will have an interest in and ideally some experience in networking (WAN, LAN, WLAN) and Android or WindowsCE, together with excellent communication skills - both remotely and face to face.

We’re looking for someone who is hungry to learn and gain experience in System Engineering; you might have some experience in the workplace already, or you might be a Graduate looking for a first opportunity. 

The starting salary will range from £25,000 - £35,000, depending on your prior education and/or experience.  There will also be a bonus of 10% and car lease/car allowance, after probation, with additional plentiful and well thought out benefits package.  The role is based in their High Wycombe HQ, so you should ideally live within a commutable distance from there, although after the initial probation period, you will not always be in the office and may instead be visiting customer and channel partner sites.
