Custody Administrator – Wealth Management - Chelmsford
A highly successful financial services business based in Chelmsford are looking for an experienced Custody Administrator to monitor and administrate the transfer out & closure of client accounts.
Main Areas of Responsibility:
Assisting with the processing of transferring client’s portfolios (GIA’s, ISA’s and Pensions) to new providers and internal accounts. This will include processing of payments to New Providers, Clients, Solicitors, SIPP Providers etc.
Investigation of residual payments received for closed accounts
Instructing the transfer of Unit Trusts to new providers
To follow up and resolve queries regarding delayed transfer settlement of Unit Trust holdings
To set up and monitor closure cases and transfer of assets
Distribution of closing instructions to other team members
Knowledge & Skills Required:
Experience/ knowledge of a Wealth Management environment would be an advantage but not essential
Experience/ knowledge of handling tax wrapped products
Understanding of Custody & Transfer Out Administration
Awareness of CASS rules and Money Laundering
Excellent IT literacy skills with a good working knowledge of MS Word & Excel
The salary on offer for this role is £38,000 plus benefits.
