A well-established Construction firm is looking for an ambitious Financial Controller to join its leadership team, based in Watford, Hertfordshire.
Reporting to the Finance Director of this circa £120m turnover company you will manage the finance function, creating a culture of continuous improvement within the team, and be responsible for delivering management accounts, statutory reports, and financial analysis for the group.
You will build and develop models to predict and track project financial performance – quickly identifying variations from agreed programs and ensuring risks, opportunities and contingencies are fully reported. You will identify and implement improvements to financial systems and controls and deliver first class management accounts on a monthly basis.
In order to be suitable for this role of significant responsibility you MUST be a fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA) with proven commercial experience in the construction industry. You will be enthusiastic, proactive and committed with a proven track record of building great working relationships at all levels.
