One of the globe’s largest transport and logistics companies is looking for a forward-thinking and savvy Financial Accountant to join their fast-paced team. Based in the city of London the company are looking for a candidate who can process and supervise the day to day finance and accounting processes within the European limb of the organisation.

Responsibilities:

Financial reporting; assist in monthly/yearly financial closing procedures according to the corporate deadlines, prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations and provide accounting advice to area managers.
Management; develop junior Statutory Accounts team members, managing their performance and creating an empowered and driven environment.
Projects; participate in and manage ad hoc projects assigned by the company.
Process improvement; initiate process improvements where necessary to improve efficiency within the Statutory Accounting team.

Skills:

3-5 years relevant accounting experience.
ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (Part-qualified considered).
Experience supervising junior members of staff.
Exemplary communication skills.
Excel and analytical capabilities.
