Finance Technician – Inside IR35 – £18 per hour – Lincoln

A government body is seeking an experienced Finance Technician to support senior finance staff to accurately monitor revenue and capital budget preparation, budget monitoring and closure of the final accounts. 
 
Duties will include supporting senior staff to provide financial intelligence, providing customers with accurate financial information, continuously improving services, maintaining accounts, verifying and posting approved journals, assisting with budget setting, obtaining information to enable FOI requests, as well as assisting with bank reconciliation.
 
Based in the Lincoln area, Lincolnshire – 2 days per week in the office. This is a contract role for initially 20 weeks (37 hours per week) from approximately 26th February and paying £18.12 per hour, less deductions for insurance, taxes and umbrella company charges (PAYE £14 per hour). The closing date is Wednesday, 18th February.
 
To be suitable for this role, you must have proven experience in a similar Finance Technician / Accounts Assistant role in a public sector or similarly complex environment. Any industry-related qualifications, such as AAT, would be highly advantageous, but not essential.
