A highly prestigious and internationally renowned travel business is looking for a Finance Officer to join their growing team based in Central London. Please note, this position is office-based, and you will be expected on site 5 days per week.
Within this role you will play an integral part in the business, working closely with and being very much part of a core team, with the ability to make a difference in the organisation. You will be responsible for managing the Accounts Payable function and ensuring the accurate and timely processing/reconciliation of financial transactions. You will work closely with outside stakeholders/ 3rd party suppliers and will hold strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships. It will be your responsibility to ensure invoices from suppliers are received and processed in a timely fashion and that payments are appropriately authorized paired with dealing with supplier disputes.
In order to be suitable for this role of significant responsibility, you must be an accomplished Finance Officer (ideally CIMA/ACA/ACCA or AAT qualified). You will have proven Accounts Payable experience and have worked within a similar role providing accounting support. You will have strong analytical skills paired with Excel experience (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables & Formulas). Any experience with Oracle would be advantageous to your application.
