Property Accountant / Finance Manager
- Full time permanent position with a leading property/housing company
- Based in the Twickenham area of South West London
- Salary up to £41,500 plus hybrid working (1-2 days a week in the office) plus 25 days annual leave and an excellent pension scheme
An award winning organisation based in South West London / Surrey border is looking for an experienced finance and accounting professional with experience in property/rent accounting principles. The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing a team of three as well as the following duties:
- Overseeing the accounting for approximately 2000 properties in the region
- Managing both bank and rental accounts / ledgers
- Management accounting and reporting/financial information
- Managing budgets
- Managing financial and accounting systems
- Oversee Bacs runs and supplier payments
- Preparing cashbook receipts and managing of any refunds
To be considered suitable for this Finance Manager role you will need to have the following skills/experience:
- Financial/accounting qualified (either AAT, ACCA, CIMA or financial degree)
- Experience of managing or leading a small team within a finance environment
- Understanding of accounting around property management, rent, housing sector
