A well-established, growing not for profit organisation based in central Derby are looking for a part-qualified or qualified by experience Finance Manager to join the team.
This is part-time position (4 days a week - 30 hours) and they offer hybrid, flexible working, 26 days annual leave (pro rata) plus bank holidays, pension scheme and a variety of discounts and free cinema tickets. They are based in central Derby with a car park nearby and are a 10-minute walk from the station.
As the Finance Manager, reporting to the CEO and heading up a team of three, you will be maintaining the organisations financial reports and monitoring and reporting on trading activities.
As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day transactions of the business, including some processing of invoices, bank payments and receipts. You will prepare consolidated quarterly accounts to trial balance, supervise the entry and reconciliation of all ledger transactions, prepare financial elements of funding applications, monitor income and expenditure for grant funded projects, control deferred income; prepayment and accruals, reconciliation of bank accounts; accounts and ledger balances and complete statutory returns.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience within a similar role and will be part qualified (CIMA or ACCA) or qualified by experience, charity sector experience is beneficial but not essential. You will have sound time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
The salary on offer for this role is up to £45,000 per annum pro rata - dependent on experience.
