Finance Manager - Kingston upon Thames, Surrey
An international consultancy firm is looking for an established Finance Manager to join their team and oversee their financial control and business functions. This will include General Accounting, Financial Reporting and Business Management. The role will include financial control for the whole group which includes entities in the UK, Australia and Canada. The successful candidate will work closely with the Managing Director at the UK Head Office.
Responsibilities:
Maintaining cashbooks for various entities.
Creditors and Debtors management.
Monthly bank reconciliations.
Maintaining financial accounting records for all entities.
Monthly payroll preparation for external payroll provider.
VAT reconciliation and submission.
Tender support for various worldwide projects.
Preparing financial reports for all entities including: Profit and loss, Cash flow, Budgets/Forecasts
Work closely with the external accountants and Managing Director to produce the statutory accounts and tax completion.
Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or Finance or a Professional Accounting Qualification i.e. ACCA/ACA/CIMA
Previous experience working with financial reporting/general ledger.
Understanding of various currencies.
