The Ashdown Group has been engaged by a highly respected international membership body, to assist in their search for a Head of Finance
This is offered on a 50% hybrid working basis, with their office being in Central London.
In this role you will act as lead for both the operational accounting and financial strategy of the organisation - therefore to be considered you must have hands on experience of both areas and be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
You will become a trusted advisor to the organisation and be responsible for providing strategic direction and business partnering to the Managing Director and Executive Committee to secure the organisation's financial future, which will include the development of a five-year plan.
Strong analysis and reporting skills are required, as you will regularly meet with the Executive Committee to present your findings and deliver guidance.
In addition, you will oversee the day to day operational accounting function which includes the monthly, quarterly and annual accounts, as well as preparation for audit, cash flow, Tax and profit.
The ideal candidate will come from a similar sector (membership, awarding or regulatory body) and have a good understanding of how SMEs and not for profit organisations operate.
The salary of offer is up to £85,000 with a generous benefits package.
