As the Accounts Assistant, reporting to the Finance Manager, you will maintain the company’s sales ledger (reviewing sales invoices, credit notes and reconciling customer accounts), take responsibility for the credit control function and maintain the company’s purchase ledger; obtaining approvals, post invoices and credit notes, reconcile supplier accounts and prepare BACs payment runs and international payments. You will also assist with monthly payroll and year-end audit preparation work.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and will hold an accounting qualification, you will have proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite including Excel and Word and have experience in a leading accounting software package.
