Finance Assistant
Kingston, Surrey - £33,000 – £40,000
We’re recruiting for a growing, forward-thinking business near Kingston, Surrey, looking to hire a Finance Assistant to join their expanding finance team.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career (AAT / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) who wants broad exposure across finance, hands-on systems experience, and clear progression.
The role offers involvement across sales ledger, purchase ledger, credit control, banking, and reporting, with the chance to support and optimise a recently implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365.
What you’ll be doing:
- Credit control, cash allocation, and customer account management
- Processing sales and purchase invoices
- Bank reconciliations and multi-currency cash management
- Supplier payments, expenses, and payroll support
- Assisting with VAT returns, month-end close, and reporting
- Supporting cash forecasting and process improvements
What we’re looking for:
- Studying or qualified AAT / ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent)
- Some finance or bookkeeping experience
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Proactive, organised, and confident communicator
- ERP experience beneficial (Business Central ideal, not essential)
Salary: £33,000 – £40,000
