A highly successful, global business operating within across a range of industry sectors are looking for an experienced finance professional with extensive experience creating and providing management information.
Multisite: this role will require candidates to be based in multiple locations – Leicester ( for the first 6 months), Sutton Coldfield (for the following 3 months) and London (for the final 3 months but only 2-3 days per week). Beyond the first 12 months you will need to be based in either Leicester or Sutton Coldfield. All travel and expenses will be paid.
The ideal candidate will be degree educated with a finance/accounting background; ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualification is essential. Perhaps you will have been working within a Management Accountant or Financial Accountant role previously but have most recently worked across date reporting and management information. You will need to have a strong background in data analytics and/or experience of developing reporting using Power BI or similar data visualisation/BI tools. Exposure to Salesforce and Advanced Excel skills are essential.
Key responsibilities will include:
Design, development and preparation of management information and reporting across the business; MI, flash reports, dashboards and KPIs
Developing relationships across the business to capture information and inputs that will help improve decision making, the forward forecasts and analysis of financial performance
Support the business in developing the management information and analysis around the P&L/Balance Sheet
Developing and refining processes, models and templates to improve accuracy, efficiency and robustness.
Reporting to the Group Financial controller, this is a newly created position and it will afford the successful candidate, a high degree of autonomy and the opportunity to shape the focus of the role moving forward beyond the first year.
