The Ashdown Group has been commissioned by The Royal Foundation and The Earthshot Prize to identify an accomplished Finalist Growth Operations Manager to join their team. As a truly global and inclusive organisation, applications are welcome from candidates based internationally.
The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge unites people to tackle some of today’s biggest challenges. They recognise that when people come together, they can achieve great things and they use their passion and unique influence to make a lasting difference on the issues that matter most to society. The Earthshot Prize is a not-for-profit start-up which currently sits within The Royal Foundation but will spin out to become an affiliated independent organisation in 2022.
The Earthshot Prize is the most prestigious global environment prize in history, designed to incentivise change and help repair our planet over the next ten years. The Prize aims to turn the current pessimism surrounding environmental issues into optimism by highlighting the ability of human ingenuity to bring about change and inspire collective action.
The Earthshot Prize finalists (15 per year, including 5 winners) are among the brightest hopes for restoring the planet’s health for the benefit of the natural world and people. Finalists include for-profit, social enterprise, not-for-profit and government-led solutions. The aim is to mobilise the greatest support possible – financial and non-financial – to help these incredible innovators to scale their solutions to the point of having a global impact on environmental issues.
In order to deliver this vision, The Earthshot Prize (TEP) is now seeking an innovative Finalist Growth Operations Manager to play a lead role in organising support to help accelerate finalists’ efforts to reach scale. Motivated by making a tangible impact to people’s lives and the natural world, you will find personal satisfaction in supporting the progress of others.
In this role you will connect finalists with corporate partners, investors, and experts, helping them to rapidly scale. You will document their strategies and provide insights on the key challenges and opportunities associated with their business models. Your deep understanding of each finalist will enable you to identify appropriate partners and facilitate knowledge sharing between finalists – creating a thriving community and fully leveraging the support and resources of TEP and its network.
The Finalist Growth Operations Manager must be supremely organised and adaptable with the capacity to work at pace and will combine great programme management experience with first class communication skills.
You will have a proven track record of managing multiple concurrent workstreams and maintaining relationships with a broad range of stakeholders. You will have a passion for implementing new and innovative ways of working in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment and will develop and maintain processes that deliver an outstanding experience for finalists and partners. Experience working with start-ups/scale ups would be highly advantageous to your application.
TEP is committed to building a diverse international team that is representative of all sections of society. They recognise that by encouraging innovative and creative ways of thinking and fostering an inclusive culture they will collaborate more effectively and achieve better outcomes.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a socially engaged Finalist Growth Operations Manager, who exemplifies the values of transparency, collaboration, inclusion, curiosity, and kindness, to develop the world’s premier support service for environmental innovators and make a profound impact to the growth and development of a truly inspiring charity with a transformative global vision.
