A successful business that has been operating for more than thirty years and has a turnover of almost £100 million is looking for proven Field Service Engineers / Mechanics to cover the Nottinghamshire region.
The successful candidate will report into the Service Manager and will be tasked with providing routine maintenance and repairs for a fleet of heavy duty vehicles. Duties will include carrying out diagnostic / fault finding, planning your daily workload, ensuring tool and parts stock levels, completing all electronic service reports, assisting in producing any estimates / quotes as well as attending internal & external technical / health & safety training courses.
In order to be suitable for this role you must have worked in a Vehicle Mechanic, Field Service Engineer, Automotive Service Technician, HGV Mechanic or similar role with proven experience on industrial, commercial or heavy equipment vehicles such as trucks, hgv, agricultural, military, buses, forklift trucks or plant automobiles. The ideal candidate will also have an industry related qualification, for example HNC or NVQ, however this is not essential.
