External Events Manager - £55,000 - 12 month FTC
The UK's leader in transport innovation is looking for an Events Manager to own, create and maintain their global master calendar of all Third Party events. The role will work closely with the Events Team Lead to define and deliver the external events programme, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, forge media and strategic partnerships to drive awareness of the company's projects and activities.
The office for this role will be either London, Farringdon or Milton Keynes and will expect 2 days a week on-site from the successful candidate.
Further responsibilities include; advising the business on which events best meet requirements, define the company's participation in each event in line with marketing and business goals and proactively research, propose and implement strategies to drive brand awareness.
It will be this position's responsibility to proactively build relationships with stakeholders and be creative enough to stand out in a physical and virtual event environment.
- Proven track record in physical and virtual events management, ideally in a corporate marketing team.
- Experienced in managing different types of Third Party event participation.
- Excellent project management skills with an ability to influence stakeholders.
- Previous experience creating event programmes and building reports to evaluate and measure effectiveness and ROI of events.
