An excellent opportunity has arisen for an events Marketing manager to join an international and well-established digital marketing and events company in central London on a 1 year maternity cover.
The role is an integral part of the marketing team and will involve executing campaigns across the department and contributing to the continuous development of creating and implementing effective marketing strategies.
To be considered for this role you MUST have experience marketing events and/or conferences including virtual events and have an understanding of the full 360 marketing lifecycle.
To be successful in this position, you will require excellent written and verbal communication skills with particular emphasis on delivering first class copy as well as proofreading content. Being involved in campaigns, demonstrable experience with digital marketing, email marketing and data segmentation is essential. Knowledge and use of marketing automation tools is beneficial (Marketo, Pardot, Eloqua, HubSpot or similar). Additionally the client is looking for experience with Sales CRM (SalesForce, MS Dynamics or similar) and knowledge of Google analytics, webtrends or similar.
The role is highly focused on creating, editing and monitoring content through various mediums. As such you will also have proficient Microsoft Office skills (particularly strong Excel), have worked in a B2B environment and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, target driven atmosphere working towards tight deadlines and budgets.
This position will be a first point of contact for 3rd party organisations and agencies and you should be able to build rapport and create good working relationships with stakeholders. There will be a need to attend events to ensure that all aspects of the project are running smoothly and to act as a contact for partners and clients. Strong attention to detail and an analytical mind are requisites to be successful.
