Enterprise Architect (Remote/Home Based)

A successful retail brand is looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to join their growing IT function on a permanent basis. This role will focus on technology solutions across business, data, applications and infrastructure. While the company has offices in the East Midlands area, this role can be fully remote. Working as part of a team focused on IT modernisation and transformation, duties will include:
- Leading the architecture strategy across IT
- Working with the wider team and senior stakeholders to strategically align business transformation goals to technology solutions
- Define architecture standards and frameworks
- Leading and guiding junior team members
- Creating a solid overview of the current environment and developing future technology roadmaps
- Working with senior stakeholders and 3rd party technology providers
- Planning the move away from legacy systems to new digital technology and cloud migration
To be considered suitable for this IT Enterprise Architect role you will need to have the following skills and experience:
- A strong background in IT architecture across business, data, applications and infrastructure
- Experience within the retail sector
- Good understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- A background in delivering on modernisation/transformation programmes
- Strong communication skills and ability to present at senior level
