Electronic Technician

As an Electronic Test Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in the introduction and support of cutting-edge products into production. Your responsibilities will include designing, commissioning, and calibrating Special to Type Test Equipment (STTE), as well as collaborating with colleagues in North America to seamlessly integrate their products into the production environment. You'll also have the opportunity to develop Computer Aided Test (CAT) Programs and provide ongoing support for in-service STTE/CAT programs.

Additionally, you'll conduct Design Verification Testing (DVT) to ensure the electrical, EMC, mechanical, and environmental performance of their new products meet their high standards. Working closely with Design Engineers based in the UK and North America, you'll troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing and contribute to safety assessments and testing protocols.

In this role, you'll have the chance to generate test plans and reports, support Obsolescence Management initiatives by selecting and proving alternative parts and uphold the company's commitment to quality at all times. Flexibility is key, as you'll also be expected to take on additional tasks as needed to support the company's activities.
