Based just outside Brighton, in Portslade, a rare opportunity has arisen for a practised Digital Marketing Manager looking to invest in a career-defining opportunity. Due to expansion, this B2B technology retailer is challenging a stand-alone specialist to maximise the organisation's ROI and deliver additional sales leads through online marketing.
The canvas is straightforward and you will be given autonomy to build and deliver across a number of digital marketing streams; campaigns that nurture both instant online quotes and larger, complex, bulk orders.
Campaigns will be across AdWords, other PPC, organic SEO, email marketing and social media, with an annual budget approaching £100,000.
This is perceived as a critical and pivotal role in the business and will report to the directors as a HoD. Within months you will be expected to build a team around you, to deliver on the marketing plan and strategy you have devised.
The ideal candidate will need to understand technical sales, appreciate the difference between a B2B and B2C audience, and be able to demonstrate a history of successes. Also, as a career marketing expert, it is expected you will possess excellent communication skills, written English and creative thinking.
It might be the case that you've been working at a digital marketing agency, looking to move beyond endless spreadsheets and website reviews, or working in a B2B industry, hoping to step up into a more managerial position.
Initially, the role will remain hands-on, as you review, amend, modernise and rebuild all the existing marketing, introduce best practice and report on performance.
To apply, send a Word copy of your CV to be reviewed. The interview process is likely to require you to give a short presentation.
