You will be responsible for leading the development team, provide technical guidance and advice, managing timescales and resources. Following an agile approach, with sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives and prioritisation at the forefront of team and development planning. Your first task in the role will be to hire an additional developer to join the team.
You will have deep experience of the Microsoft .Net and .Net Core environments, fully conversant with C#, SQL Server, SSRS, MVC and Entity Framework.
Building customer facing systems, you will be running a team using web and e-commerce technologies to improve efficiencies and communication across the supply chain.
To be considered for the role, you will have a track record of successful systems development – implementing solutions and improving existing systems and introducing change.
You will have good experience managing a team, responsible for the UK team of developers and offshore capabilities.
As a member of the senior management team you will need to be adept at forming good relationships with colleagues across operations, infrastructure, implementation, and account management.
