An established organisation is looking for an Interim Desktop Support Engineer to join its IT team based in the Burgess Hill area, West Sussex. This is an interim contract role for 3-6 months, whilst they recruit a permanent member of staff, and is paying up to £250 per day.
The successful candidate will be providing 1st & 2nd line support (MS stack) to approximately 100 users, plus remote workers and volunteers, all in the UK.
In order to be suitable for this role you must have worked in a Service Desk Engineer, Helpdesk Analyst, Desktop Support Technician, IT Support Engineer or similar role. It is essential to have proven 1st & 2nd line support experience with technical knowledge covering Active Directory, O365, Hyper-V, PC hardware and some general networking. Any experience with Exchange, SharePoint, Citrix or phone systems will be considered advantageous, but are not essential.
This is a diverse hands-on role which would suit a driven technical support professional with a customer focussed approach.
