To secure this role you should be:
An experienced SQL Database Developer adept at SSIS.
Proficient at building ETL processes to import and store data
Be confident delivering technical solutions across multiple projects
Adhere to development best practices, writing efficient and optimised code
Experienced working on Azure services - Azure SQL DB, Azure Data Factory
You will be working closely alongside an Elastic Search Programming an Big Data team and will develop skills with both of these. The successful person will demonstrate an appetite to learn more about these, a confidence in their ability to pick up new technologies quickly and a drive for innovative problem solving.
Day to day tasks could involve:
Working closely with the Elastic Search programming team to create a database back-end of search actions
Creating ETL systems for loading new raw data sources onto their core dataset.
Cleaning data - creating tables and algorithms to assist with this.
