Data Value Management / Governance Specialist (Global Insurance Company)
*Outside IR35, Initial 6 month contract (likely to extend), up to £750 per day*
Remote/hybrid working with offices in London and Birmingham
A global insurer is looking for an experienced consultant with a strong background in data value management. The role will be responsible for supporting a large data modernisation programme spanning the next three years which will include heavy investment in cloud and streaming technologies. This role will hold a number of responsibilities including:
- Driving forward best practice capability across Data Quality, Data Governance and MDM (Master Data Management)
- Supporting the Head of Data Value in developing Centres of Excellence for data governance and data quality
- Establishing a culture of data value across the organisation
- Developing data to deliver enhanced business outcomes and ensuring investment in architecture is fit for purpose
- Support implementation of data management frameworks
- Successfully implementing MDM processes and tools
-Ensure alignment between data governance, data privacy and IT strategy
To be considered suitable you will need the following skills and experience:
- Strong data governance and quality experience, ideally within a range of industry sectors
- Detailed knowledge of business and technology issues within data management
- Strong understanding of data quality, data governance, data privacy and data ethics
- History of building detailed data quality measurement frameworks
- Proven experience of developing governance processes and using automation where possible
- Strong information management practices knowledge including lifecycle management, data profiling, MDM and audits
