An established and renowned industry leader is seeking a proven Cyber Security Engineer / Manager to manage and govern all security services to ensure the business is secure and protected from cyber threats as well as compliant to industry standards. This is a hybrid role with approximately 3 days per week in their London (Paddington) office.
Reporting into the Head of Service Delivery, the successful candidate will be solely responsible for the assessment and delivery of information and threat protection, including data loss, data classification, security information and event management (SIEM), user and entity behaviour analytics (UEBA), point products like anti-virus (AV), intrusion detection systems / intrusion prevention systems (IDS/IPS) and penetration testing. This will be both a hands-on and strategic security role with duties covering technical leadership, monitoring security access and managing IDS / IPS configurations, establishing security best-practice standards, analysing all security incidents, reviewing and upgrading all security measures, responding to all customer and clients compliance requests as well as developing and managing security plans.
In order to be suitable for this role you must have proven experience in a Cyber Security Consultant, IT Security Manager or similar hands-on IT security professional / leadership role. It is essential to have broad IT security knowledge covering Network appliances, firewall administration, AD, IAM, SIEM, UEBA, AV, IDS/IPS, and MDM as well as compliance standards such as ISO27001, PCI-DSS and GDPR. An IT technical background and CISSP certification will be considered highly beneficial, but not essential.

This Cyber Security Engineer / Manager role is paying a basic salary of £60,000 - £80,000 depending on experience plus benefits that generally include bonus, pension, life assurance, private medical, season ticket loan and 25 days holiday.
