A leading business services company is seeking a part time Credit Controller to work Monday to Friday as part of a job share. This will be in the afternoons only, from 1pm-4.45pm daily.
The role is paying £27,000 pro rata.
Responsibilities include:
*Credit checks for news accounts
*Set up new accounts and issue pro forma invoices as applicable
*Credit approved orders on new and existing accounts
*Chase overdue debts by telephone and email
*Ensure the accounts are at the correct stage of the collection process at all times using the shared credit control spreadsheet
*Perform and maintain account reconciliations
*Process card payments over the telephone
*Monitor invoice queries ensuring they are dealt with effectively and promptly
*Issue customer refunds
*Ensure all cash is allocated correctly
*Complete back office tasks in timely manner
*Build and maintain strong inter-departmental relationships.
Key requirements:
*Minimum 3 years of Credit Control experience
*Experience in both business to business and consumer credit
*A good working knowledge of Excel including v-lookups
*Preferably a member of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management
