International specialist insurer is seeking a Data Analyst to cover some compensation & benefits analysis projects over a 1 month period.  The role is offered as a hybrid role with Tuesday-Thursday in the office off Liverpool street. 

You will need to analyse salary and benefit data to achieve the following:

  1. Production of a Gender pay gap analysis to include a review of payrise history data to compare salary increase by gender, age and ethnicity
  2. Assist the HR manager in producing a comparison of salaries with benchmark data be able to produce salary and cost  models to show impact of decisions
  3. Analysis of salaries and benefits by job grade across international entities in comparison with the UK and current economy
  4. Review of Private medical and dental insurance benefits
  5. Production and analysis of headcount, diversity  and absence statistics
  6. Audit the current HR database to ensure data accuracy and identify any gaps or errors in the data

Person Specification:

  • You must have proven data analysis experience, with the ability to analyse and manipulate large amounts of complex data, presenting and working effectively to internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate advanced excel skills on data manipulation, formulae and pivot tables
  • You will have an attention to detail, with the ability to identify gaps, errors and trends within data sets.
  • You will have a clear understanding of GDPR, and the need for maintaining high levels of confidentiality at all times, when handling sensitive data
  • Any payroll  or compensation & benefits experience is desirable, but not essential.  (You do not have to have been an HR data analyst specifically, but would suit someone who has worked in finance and has actively worked on salary modeling)
  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • Excellent data presentation and report writing skills

This is a daily rate contract that falls inside of IR35 and offers up to £390 per day for the 1 month period.  This contract is available to start immediately, but they may be able to wait up to 1 month for the right candidate. Working hours are 9 - 5pm with a early finish on Fridays.  Hybrid working also on offer.
