An international membership organisation in Central London is looking for a Communications Specialist (Marcomms) professional to enhance and grow their current audience. This is a hybrid working position with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
You will work with the Head of Marketing and Communications to implement an integrated marketing and communications strategy. Therefore, will ideally have strong B2B industry knowledge and have previous experience working in or supporting a membership organisation or professional body.
A key focus of the role will be to research, develop, propose and write content for print and digital platforms for publications and events. You'll also be responsible for managing internal and external communications, including delivering successful communications plans and developing a highly effective comms calendar.
You will copy-edit both print and digital materials as needed, contribute to the social media presence and create editorial as well as branded content material and marketing collateral.
The successful candidate will be digitally savvy and have a good working knowledge of the following systems: MS PowerPoint, Excel, WordPress, SharePoint, Newsweaver (or similar), InDesign and Canva (non-essential).
In addition, you will ideally possess relevant professional marketing qualifications however they will consider applicants who are qualified by experience with a good academic background.
