Financial Planning Analyst – London, Hybrid Working
£54,000 – 12 month FTC with possible extension
A market leading tech/innovation accelerator based in Central London (Farringdon) are looking for an experienced Financial Planning Analyst to join their Finance team on a 12 month FTC.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Accountant with experience of financial modelling, forecasting and KPI analysis. Reporting to the Group Commercial Accountant you will be responsible for working with key members of the Bid Team, Project Management team, and other departments within the business to help drive the company to deliver against targets.
This is a key role in the team which will be responsible for working closely with our in-house Bid Team to ensure budgets and proposals benefit from commercial finance input. This role will also work closely with colleagues in the Project Management team to provide financial advice and assistance to help them deliver their projects to budget and forecast, and will integrate with other departments within the business as necessary.

Key responsibilities of this Planning Analyst role will be:
Act as the Finance lead to partner with colleagues to support new business proposals, including bid reviews prior to client submission, advising on funding rules and pricing proposals, and providing financial information for external review
Partner with Project Managers to provide finance reporting, financial analysis, and support to ensure forecasting and resourcing is managed effectively
Lead on the provision of costing and pricing proposals to support new project opportunities
Undertake financial modelling to support strategy and delivery plans as necessary
Assist with the calculation of overheads and the impact to pricing, budgeting & third-party fixed overhead rules
Ad-hoc support to include reporting and analysis for the wider team, and assistance with Financial Management Information reporting
This is initially a 12 month FTC but it has a strong chance of being made permanent.
The salary is £54,000 plus benefits.
