A global energy trading company is seeking a Commercial Finance Manager. In this role you’ll develop the strategy for financial planning, budgeting, performance monitoring and management reporting functions in order to provide comprehensive, insightful information and timely reports and analysis to the management, board and stakeholders.
You’ll mainly strategise the company’s annual business plan and budget. You’ll review, challenge and provide insights pertaining to key budget decisions and the company’s plans & strategies so as to ensure alignment to business strategies at Division level.
The role will also be to manage a team overseeing the Treasury, banking and trade finance related matters. You'll manage the team reviewing sufficiency of credit facilities as well as compliance to banking regulatory and trade finance contracts. The Commercial Finance Manager will also manage the team that looks after payments and documentation on trade finance with adherence to accounting policies, statutory & regulatory requirements.
This role is paying a maximum salary of £90,000 and offers great benefits including 10% pension contribution from the company, a bonus (circa 10%) and 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays).
The role is hybrid (Monday-Wednesday in the Central London office and Thursday-Friday work from home).
To be suitable for this role you must be/have:
- A fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Significant experience in the Oil and Gas/Energy Sector
- Managerial experience (this will be managing a Finance Team of 4)
