A highly successful and established business is looking for an experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to be based from their office on the Hampshire / Surrey border.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, building and maintaining a global infrastructure (Azure & Data Centres). The role will involve managing projects, providing 3rd line support, planning technical enhancements to the infrastructure environment and managing the cloud managed service provider relationship.
In order to be suitable for this role you must have experience working in a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, IT Technical Infrastructure Architect, IT Systems Manager, IT Infrastructure Manager or similar senior infrastructure based role in a medium / large multi-site environment. It is also essential to have the following skills / experience:
- Configuring and supporting infrastructure in Azure
- Working alongside software / application development teams, ideally with some DevOps exposure
- Solid technical knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365 and networking, including VPNs, routers, switches & firewalls
Any technical exposure to Powershell, virtualisation and IT Security fundamentals or any industry-related certifications will be considered highly beneficial, but are not essential.

This role is paying £65,000 depending on experience plus benefits including group contributory pension and 25 days annual leave.
